Author: Clueless coaching
Subject: Foul Trouble

KPR continues to cost the team games by benching his better players for long stretches with 2 fouls in the first half

Hitchon played 6 minutes in the first half because of “foul trouble” and finished the game with 3 fouls. 60% of the allowable fouls.

Hitchon ended up playing only 20 minutes and the griffs were +17 in that time!! He got a second foul with 9 minutes left in the first half (griffs were winning) and didn’t return until 6 minutes went by in the second half where they were down 13
Corey Brown played 20 minutes which is inexcusable - the griffs were -20 with him in the floor.

Fritz also was sat for much of the first half with two fouls. Reggie was saving him to barely play in the second half.

Play your best players. If they foul out so be it. 2 fouls is nowhere close to fouling out and to put your team in a hole too big to climb out of in fear of a third foul is just piss poor coaching

They needed this game and our coaches once again disappointed. Don’t give me the same crap that we’re learning. You know what you have on the team your role as a coach is to manage it effectively & efficiently.

What is going on? So confusing, this coaching style. Maybe trying to build the confidence of the freshmen as starters for next year. At the same time affect negatively the confidence of the upperclassmen. Whom they desperately need to play more minutes then they do. Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple current juniors on the transfer portal at seasons end. Just wow.
