The program has taken massive steps back in talent, engagement. It looks like a retirement job to ease him into social security.

I think with this roster we should be doing better, even with the injuries. With the limited contact I've had with Reggie (running into him at KAC, and exchanging pleasantries), I like the guy. But I don't have any sense about the staff. There was was preseason get together this year, but why in the burbs where it was poorly attended (at least as I understand). Why not Cole's where people used to look forward to attending, for example. When T.P. was hired, one of the members of the selection committee told me , along these lines:" He was heads and shoulders above- this is the guy". But he wasn't either. He killed the Cage Club, but he looked great, could recruit, but couldn't coach and played to where he thought the money was, IMO. JB was a lot like Reggie, including not showing much enthusiasm for the alumni. But there was Billy to compensate for that in spades.Energy has gone way South. There are some people who care (including me) who think CC should keep up with how P.B. is doing and if he is where we hope he should be, CC should be first in line to give him a second chance. Remember how the enthusiasm level at NU went from just about 0 to out-of-sight after he was hired and bounced right back up there after "the troubles" when they realized what they have in G.P.? Imagine C.C. vs. NU and P.B. vs. G.P.. John and Bill, think about it. It might even attract some big $$ to complete Science Hall. Let's move ahead with Buffalo! Let's Go Griffs!
