Subject: Jaden Ezomo

A Senior from Nottingham H.S. in Syracuse has been accepted to Canisius. I have no idea if he is a recruit, but he’s 6’7”, after 15 games he is averaging 16.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg, and 1.3 bpg. 6’7” 185 lbs. Maybe a walk-on?

Very interesting news CNY Griff. In all of my research, I have found no mention of him being recruited by Canisius - or anyone else for that matter. He certainly seems to have the size, ability, and resume to warrant D-1 attention which would lead me to think he is more than a walk-on. Certainly worthy of keeping an eye on moving forward.

For anyone who remembers Elton Frazier, those were his #’s in high school, but he was a Learning Disabled student so schools backed away from him. Parrotta found out (did his homework) that Elton had been working very hard with his resource teachers and, with the excellent academic help he would receive at Canisius, he was worth the risk. Elton had a great basketball career and finished with a Masters Degree.

Is that the case with Ezomo?

Griff, not that I’m aware of, I just brought it up as a possibility for why he is not on recruiting radars.
