Subject: Can't believe our record is so bad

Watching tonight's game with Quinny. We have some talent, no way we should be 9-16, 4-10.

Imagine what we could do with an involved, active coach who ran somewhat of a structured offense and who had guys playing nose-to-nose defense.

We won't ever get a new KAC if we don't start winning and start packing the place. And that's not going to happen under Reggie.

I agree this team has a lot of talent. I kinda feel like they could be a sleeping giant come tourney time. I feel they have as good a shot as any team in the MAAC!

Just need a lucky bounce here or there.

This team will hang with every team in the MAAC at some point even carve out a lead. But when it matters most they will go cold with shooting for a period of time and lose by a few. They will break our hearts every time.

Any optimism about this team’s chances in the MAAC Tournament is delusional. Just watch this mess game after game. Reggie will hold them back.

The four minute drought during crunch time was the killer. The final shots by Hitchon is what I questioned. Scott was having a poor game, and why we didn't go to Majesty like in the Marist game is hard for me to understand. The Griffs have had a season full of close games, and the only game in MAAC competition where we were soundly beaten was the loss at Monmouth. I suppose one could have some hope come tournament time, but I'm thinking one and done. Looking ahead, the onl;y hope is that RW brings in a couple of kids next season who can flat out play. We desperately need a big who can give us an inside presence, and a strong guard who can shoot the 3. Go Griffs, and beat the Jaspers.

If the starting line up and rotations don't change the results won't either. How does Hitchon not play more in the second half or for that matter even the first half. He had 6 pts and 5 rebs in 13 minutes in the first half. Only plays 10 minutes in the 2nd half. He added another 2 pts and 4 rebounds in the 2nd half in 10 minutes. Which is what Fritz did in 30 minutes 2 pts and 4 rebs. Starting bigs had a combined 6 pts in 47 minutes of playing time. Brown did great rebounding though pulling down 9 rebs in 17 minutes to go with 4 pts. White and Hitchon off the bench combined for 15 pts in 33 minutes of playing time. White had 3 fouls and Hitchon only had 2. Yes white fouled the 3 pt shooter again. Not long after though, he hit a 3 to make up for it. Hitchon also had a great day rebounding with 9 rebs. Why isn't Hitchon the big playing the most minutes on the team, best chance of winning. Or equal minutes anyway with Fritz. Why not start the second half against Quinnipiac, with the 5 guys that were on the floor at the ended of the first half up by 7 pts 39-32. Pretty sure those 5 players were Johnson, Brandon, Harried, Hitchon and White. Hard to figure this year out. Instead of 4-11, the griffs could easily be 9-6 or 10-5. Hopefully things get figured out soon and they can get a couple wins heading into the tournament. They have the players to win games. Go Griffs!!!
