Subject: real story on waterman's transfer

it seems young noah had an advisor(scumbag) in florida who convinced him he would never make the nba if he stayed at nu. his mom wanted him to stay at nu, but the scumbag won out, if you watched 60 minutes last nite there was the story about scumbags recruiting players from africa and selling them off to colleges, while hoah's transfer has nothing to do with africa it probably has to do with money to the advisor, so it will be interesting to see where he ends up,also interesting to see how he pans out, a real interesting statistic is over 60 players from lower rated conferences transferred to higher rated conferences in 2018-19 to become eligible in 2019-20 every transfer averaged double figures at the lower school, but none did at the higher school, guess the grass is not always greener

First of all, we're a Canisius board. Why do we care about NU?

Secondly, Waterman averaged 7 and 3. Why would anyone think he's a high-major talent, let alone an NBA prospect?

For myself, I'd be very happy if he transferred to CC. I suspect a lot of other CC fans would to.

If he does, which he probably won't, we can talk about it.

We can dream can't we? If he gets in the right program with the right coach and works hard he appears to have the tools (with some added weight and muscle which a transfer year off can give him)to be a very special player IMO. Maybe it was academics (see NU site). If not he was in the right program with the right coach IMO. I doubt that NU and GP have a 6'-11" 245lb version of him waiting in the wings to fill his scholarship. On the other hand, GP has been quite the surprise so far(credit where credit is due).
