Where does that fit into the mix?
I don't see RMU going the same route as Marist (non scholarship - Pioneer Football League) or the Big South that Monmouth plays in.
Maybe the PFL does fit for them?? Geographically it's not too bad.
Maybe the Patriot League for FB only?

Enrollment wise - The MAAC makes more sense for RMU (5,300 Students)
The Horizon is predominantly state schools with and average of 17K students per school.

If the MAAC is 'chosen', travel would not change much for them if they leave the NEC as they make the trips to the East Coast already.
