Subject: These Zachery's are a piece of work.

Now it turns out that Malik was involved in an altercation earlier in the month with a female host of a party near Niagara. NT police have confirmed that he threw the first punch in the altercation with Hitchon. Yet his dad, Mike, continues to defend his soon to be felon kid without knowing any of the facts. And, he's as concerned with the fact that (according to his kid), UB was beating Canisius like a bunch of "JV players" as he is in deciding which NAIA school Malik will attempt to get into once UB dismisses him. Guess your knife wielding punk kid got stomped out by a bunch of 9th and 10th graders then Mike. Ass.

Griff, you should add a like button to the site. Your post was outstanding. I’m surprised UB hasn’t already expelled him

Maybe he should concentrate on being a better parent. The kid needs to be straightened out. Can’t believe UB is allowing him to take classes and is still on campus.

When dad said a kid got “poked” instead of stabbed, it spoke volumes about this bozo.

I’m sure he will be dismissed from both the school and the basketball team. Like every college, there is a process that includes at least two committees. Those two committees then recommend expulsion.
Is anyone surprised y the reaction of the parent. Probably why the kid thinks he can do things with no consequences.

This whole story certainly reflects badly on the UB basketball Program, and on Zachery in particular. What caliber of players are they recruiting?

Not players, young men.

It is widely known around WNY and college basketball that UB cuts a lot of corners with NCAA rules. Nate Oates was especially loose with the rules, but it’s more than that at UB. Their systemic desperation to attain national relevance has led to a major deterioration in ethical recruiting. They are reaping what they have sown.

I remember just a few years ago when they had to toss one of their star basketball players who was stealing from dorm rooms. He was brought to UB from Detroit by Nate Odoms. Hmm.

Former Bills cornerback recruiting for UB hoops? Interesting...

I hope they get nailed vs. a slap on a wrist. They run a dirty program.

Zachery now only has to beat up a Bona student before he completes through the whole Big 4, before he's played 1 game.
