Subject: Tough Start for Molson

Played 29 minutes in part due to injuries and Seton Hall's foul situation. Scored 8 points on just 2-12 shooting. Missed a contested drive to the basket with 5 seconds left that would have put SH in the lead and then was fouled (bad call) on a 3 with a chance to send it to overtime with .7 left. Made the first two and missed the third as Louisville prevailed 71-70.

He looked like the same low percentage shooter he was for us, I'm sure he will have some good to great games but overall still looks inconsistent and slow but I guess he's at least on a team playing.

Tikal has a great body for a 6ā€™5ā€ guard and plays his best when he drives and finishes at the hoop.but he regressed last season into thinking he was a pure shooter when he plainly is not. I recall his first game as a Griff vs. UB when he used his ability to penetrate and finish to great success. He is regrettably a head case when it comes to playing the game.

Takal had a lot of nights like that during the second half of his last season with the Griffs. He just seemed like he was forcing things to pad his stats.Probably he knew he was leaving. Wish him the best with Seton Hall.

He was never going to be here long. Too many people got in his head and fed his ego that he could do better.

Well that's funny. He's not even that good. When Reese was "right", he was ten times the player. Molson thought he'd go to Seton Hall and become a pro. Yeah ok. Woulda been better staying at Canisius and scoring 17 a game - at least then people maybe woulda taken notice and given him a chance. Now go score 7 a game and shoot 20% from the floor until Willard reduces and reduces your minutes. Then recruits over you next season. Great move "Big Time" lol.

I agree. I saw promise in him when he was a freshman. As a sophomore it seemed as if he regressed. You have to be able to shoot the ball in today's game. He can't.
