Subject: When is this team going to do anything???

Marist just got a kid from Southern who averaged 14 points a game. All we have done is have our best player enter the transfer protocol and lose out on anyone they were recruiting. Why would anyone be even interested???

Is there really something wrong with roster continuity? If the team keeps the vast majority of their players and returns with all that experience together, hasn't it been proven to be easier to establish the culture right away in the preseason and improve. As opposed to a big player turnover and throwing a whole bunch of new pieces together for the new year, just hoping things come together by midseason or later.
Yes, it's not as entertaining for a lot of people because constant changes/drama fills the obvious void in their lives during the offseason. That's on you, not the coaching staff.

You do raise a good point. I guess if we knew if White and/or Hitchon was/were coming back, then what you say would have greater merit. Losing Brandon (I guess there is still a chance he could be back) is a big blow that needs to be addressed and they already had an open ship to give. I don't think anyone wants eight new players every year and Internet rumors and discussions are only a piece of what is actually going on when it comes to recruiting, but it is obvious that they are active and have swung and missed more than a few times with guys they wanted to bring in.
