Wow. When it rains it seems to keep raining at Jefferson and Main these days.

It’s about time that we have a Lady Griff at the helm. Go Griffs!

What is that supposed to mean? They need to hire the best the best coach they can find, period. Who cares where the coach graduated from? Unless you have someone specific in mind, I don't see your point (and maybe not even then, either). Just win games - that's the point.

Canisius is a tough sell. Having a former player would help. Many young women would prefer to play for a women coach.

Gina Castelli, former Griff and HOF’er, just retired from LeMoyne. I wonder if she’d come out of retirement forAlma Mater?

Knowing the way Canisius thinks, the budget situation, etc., I wonder if Pat Clarke is a candidate.

Ultimately, I'd like Lauren DeFalco from Seton Hall, Sarah Jenkins from Delaware, or Kelly Killion from Penn.

DeFalco & Killion both played in the MAAC. Lauren was at Iona & Kelly (Fairfield). I still think we will default to someone who has WNY roots.

"I still think we will default to someone who has WNY roots."

Don't we always? ........

It's like the definition of insanity.....

I wonder if Mike Decillis is available. His reward when losing to Marist in the MAAC championship was to be fired by athletic director Dillon, and replaced by TZ. TZ was quite successful at the start with talented players brought in by Mike. How about Mrs. Dolan. She is a former player, and a very successful local high school coach, Go Griffs!!!!

Buffalo can be a tough draw. If you grew up here or have been worked in WNY YOU can appreciate it's charm. Bringing in a coach who has never been here it's a bit of a culture shock. Choosing Baron was an easy choice he had a feel for WNY. Parrotta came from NYC and it was culture shock for him and his family. I'm not saying we should take someone from WNY but using that lens makes it easier. I'm all for finding the next Sister Maria or Tara VanDerveer. Good luck Lady Griffs.
