Good team or not, the KAC is substandard and won't work much longer. And if we do get good, it will be way too small.

When we build a new arena, we're building for 2030 and for 30 years beyond, not for 2025. It needs to be do ne, and it needs to be done right.

A building won't solve the problems. There needs to be a cultural change at Canisius. Otherwise, they're spending $50,000,000+ on a quiet, half full but nice arena.

Furthermore, renovating the KAC or building on campus currently would be very difficult, if not impossible. Canisius needs more land to make a modern facility viable. You could go with the parking ramp, KAC Upper Lot, or Spielman Lot but there are significant engineering challenges.

Parking ramp is being demolished. Best option is the the upper parking lot of Koessler. Build new fields behind Mount Saint Mary’s we have plenty of space. Mindset shift for sure is needed. If leaders are made here then the school needs to lead the way vs. being a slow follower. Father Cooke had us headed in the right direction. We lost time with the current leadership team.

We're spending 50M on an arena? Are you referring to the 2022 Development campaign? Won't most of those $$ go to finishing Science Hall? Beyond that, To build a proper events center, $50M would probably be--- what?--- half the cost? Start by demolishing everything on the Main St., E.Delavan, Jefferson, Florida blocks, and go to town! What,s up with The Parking Ramp is being demolished? Who says and when?

If we are going to change the culture, then investment in basketball needs to be at the forefront. That means a new arena.

Build on close to the same footprint as the KAC. Play and practice a year at Buff State or some other temporary location.
