Valeria gives an overly curt nod to Velenx - she's irritated at him, it's plain, but he'll more than make it up to her later tonight during the post-sacrifical ceremony. But for now, there is more serious work to be done. The final breaking of the condemned falls into the cruel paws of Velenx, no stranger to torture. He steps up to the wall, his snarling lips for the first time in many minutes almost curling up into a wicked smile. From his belt he unhooks an iron hammer, one carved with runes and demons. Without a word, he swings it twice... efficiently shattering both the rat's kneecaps. At this sudden shock of unspeakable agony, the rat does let out his screams, but now Velenx doesn't care. The ritual is almost complete. |
