Subject: native roll no.

I am a memeber of the Over Hill Nation in Tellico Tennessee. My mom's mom was supposely Cherokee I want to get on the roll but, don't know how? Everyone that knew my grandma is dead my mom was a baby when her and my papa died so she has no ideal but, when my aunts and uncles were alive you could see by the high cheek bones the noses and pitch black hair no one had birth certifcates. They were made when the kids were young. I want to know and my mom is older and can't read or write well she never went to school. How would a person get to their native roots?? Please help!!!!
