I have an 11 year old deaf/autistic son. Although he started out in a class for dhh students many years ago, his needs changed so much from the rest of the class that he's been in a class for autistic kids for several years now. In fact, he goes to a private school that specializes in a communication system called PECS (Picture Exchange Commmunication System). It's an extremely effective method of teaching autistic children the point of commumication. If you would like to know more or want to know about his school, please email me directly at lcjmail@yahoo.com.
