I have Three boys: Two are deaf and have ASD (autism spectrum disorder) My middle son is now 12, profoundly deaf
and very high functioning on the asd spectrum. My youngest son has a moderate hearing loss, and is ranked moderately autisic on the C.A.R.S. assesment for autism. I am the moderator of this board. And prior to the start up date
of this board I felt very alone. I knew others had to be out there it was just a matter of finding "ya'll".
WELCOME! You are at a place where people really understand
If you read Georges' desription of what challenges he is faced with now, well I'm am two months into the exact same thing with my middle son.
You are way ahead of the game as far as early diagnosis.
The earlier the diagnosis and treatment the better the prognosis.
Good luck and God Bless
