Subject: No way it's a coincidence. When Raiden asks Snake about the name he says "I get the Plisken part but what about (the other name)" I don't think there is any other way Reiden would have "got it" exept from that movie and since they don't tell you that in the game they expect that the player has got it as well. This game was tranlated so it's possable in Japan Skane used a named the Japanenes players would get (just a guess on thet part).
