Making the world a better place

WorldNetDaily and its scum editor Joseph Farah are a common source of misinformation that appears on this board. Many of us know not to believe anything this guy publishes, but some folks insist on treating his trash as fact.

The last time I blasted this guy, I mentioned he was in the process of making history by being on the receiving end of the largest liable suit ever filed on the planet. Well, all is progressing nicely.

WND has exhausted all legal options - and they did a through job of trying - to get the case dismissed, but their efforts all failed.

The case is scheduled for trial March 10.

The $164 million in damages sought against WND is over three times the amount ever awarded in the history of litigation and may the plaintiffs be awarded every cent. Just watching Farah squirm under the threat of impending bankruptcy is reason enough to get up every day.

Hooters girls and I are consoled by the fact that no refreshment establishment chain is carrying live coverage of this trial. Their income stream is unthreatened and I am spared a difficult decision.
