Thanks for citing O.C.G.A. 20-2-2091. However, I consider it implausbile to posit that the existence of a state 'law' -- as contrary or wacky as that law may be -- would be the DECIDING FACTOR in the Georgia Supreme Court decision!

State laws CHANGE ALL THE TIME for a variety of reasons. Not only do they change but the fact that there is a law on a state's books doesn't mean that that 'law' makes sense or is ALWAYS ENFORCED! Some examples: nationally, a citizen 'can't buy sex toys' in Reno, Nevada even though Nevada allows brothels; locally, 'drinking any liquid on a school or city bus is punishable by a hefty fine' in Athens/Clark County, Georgia.

I continue to expect that the Georgia Supreme Court somehow will rule in favor of the Georgia Charter Schools Commission's actions in this lawsuit.
