Subject: All Quiet on the Western Front...and elsewhere!!

Well, spring has made a limited appearance on the West Coast, or Left coast, if you prefer, with mild temps, trees and flowers budding out. It is a pleasure to see spring after a chilly winter, but nothing like what hit the East in the last 2 months. I hope all of you still living there are "enjoying" those four seasons that you say you dearly love, I'll take the mundane life here of warm and less warm for my year. Hope everyone is enjoying preparing their income tax returns and listening to the incessant rhetoric on health care legislation. What a joke!!It's a shame our elected representatives can't put as much energy into helping this country and the economy instead of their endless baloney telling us what we "really need". And during this unlimited discussion, the Congress has the audacity to once again vote themselves a pay raise...what arrogance! Oops, did I just violate the unwritten rule of the forum and bring politics into the discussion? Oh well, you just can't trust those "right-wing extremists", can you. Have a nice day!!
