Subject: Reunion Plans & Work

When our Denny resigned from co-chairing the reunions to concentrate on teaching & family, I asked Sue Kenyon & Hazel Sterner to take up the proverbial mantle. Sue has secured the Syracuse Marriott (formerly Hotel Syracuse) for the weekend. We will have moved Minerva there...where she will remain in perpetuity...so you can see her all refurbished and available for anyone who wants to see her again or for the first time. Hazel is doing an amazing job on the 2016 issue of the Recorder. You will be thrilled by its professionalism and, hopefully, content. Sadly, I have had to do yet another In Memoriam video because of so many losses since the 50th. We have currently lost 90 of our 476 classmates. Please make every attempt to attend the 55th as it may the last reunion of its type. By the 60th, we will be nearing 80 and possibly looking at a nice dinner at a local restaurant.

AUGUST 25 & 26. Marriott Downtown. Rooms have been blocked and you may make reservations after JULY 4. We still do not know if the mold issue at CTHS will prevent a tour. John McLoughlin is working with Sehl Burns. Liz Beiling will do decor. Donna Prosser will take candids. Nancy Hague is taking care of music. Bruce Yenny will take care of Minerva transport. Mike Holley is in charge of memorabilia. Tom Hogg continues to provide the Forum and scths.com for our online needs. Fine Photo will do the formal pix & video. After nearly twenty years of serving the Class of '61, our Steering Committee will provide you with a fine 55th Reunion.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!
