Subject: Thanks

Thanks to Ronnie and all who have sent notes of appreciation for the
Memory Book. I have worked on it, off and on, for ten years. In truth,
I am still working on it....classmates move, pass on, etc., so it will be a work in progress in perpetuity. I initially thought that it might be a way to enhance the treasury but at 130+ pages, it is just too expensive to create in a book form. Tom Hogg has been able to post it to our class website which he created. And, dear Bill Goodwin continues to seek and find those classmates who have moved without informing us. Dave Agresti has gone over the book with his impeccable fine-tooth comb to find inconsistencies and errors. Shirley Walker found that I missed the very much loved and respected Harvey Steinberg, the math teacher. All will be rectified soon.
Meanwhile, our local committee has done a fantastic job in prep for the 55th. Sue Kenyon has honcho'd all things hotel and food-related and Hazel Sterner has brought a professionalism to the Recorder that we could never afford. And, Liz will do decor, Nancy will secure music, Donna will take pix, Mike will Handle our memorabilia, John will do the tour...We will try to
get some media coverage for the unveiling of Minerva and trust that the hotel will be a good caretaker of her in perpetuity. I am in the process of having the In Memoriam video (updated with our 90 losses) placed on a disc that can play on a machine so classmates can view it at their liesure. Hopefully, we can add Stan Khanzadian's piece on to it. With good luck all will come together. We have been blessed with an amazing Steering Committee. When Denny Whalen and I began this adventure several reunions ago, we never realized the amount of effort it would take nor that we would have a support team that is the envy of every class anywhere in charge of giving their friends, their classmates, outstanding experiences every five years. It has been a joy! Your financial and emotional support has made all the difference. Thank you so very much!!!!
