Subject: Relatively Warm & Green Christmas in Buffalo

Dear Friends,

After our very sad Oct. 13th snowfall of two feet and most of our trees, the weather has been much about average in WNY.....actually, we do get a bum rap here because of the size of the city not the amount of precip. When we first
moved here, I was surprised that our plow bill was so low since everything, and I do mean everything, is so high. Well, that year we had 83 inches of snow while
Syracuse had 180 inches of snow. In fact, the only two dicey nights of driving
that I have had have occurred on the last two Christmas eves going to Midnight Mass (which in our church is at 10:30 pm). We may get a few flakes tomorrow
but it is a very green Christmas. Hope yours is a happy and healthy holiday.
