This is a great post, Dave.....we are all of the same vintage so my guess is that
a lot of the same stuff will appeal to us. I trust you more than the professional reviewers. If you go to 2006 Films, you can see what came out last year and it will help you to recall what you saw....

The Da Vinci Code disappointed me because I had read the book. Those in our party who had not read it thought it was very good.

Enjoyed the Pink Panther but will not go to a movie on a weekend ever again.
We like to go on week day mornings.....have the place virtually to ourselves.

Loved 16 Blocks...very exciting!

Loved Inside Man....but then could look at Denzil for hours on end....and Jody
ain't too shabby either.

The Devil Wears Prada was good fun...

Had trouble maintaining interest in Pirates of the Caribbean II
