I echo, echo David and Tom on our classes' directory. Got my copy here in front of me.

Kathy's shepparding a bunch of us gophers in the orchestration of this document, has produced possibly something unique in high school classes, especially at our vintage.

1961 seemed to me to be a transition period from the Silent generation of the 50's to the "Question Authority" 60's battle cry. I am quite surprised to NOT FIND among our guy classmates, any Vietnam War related deaths. We were ripe for that war's troops. I'm glad I "went Air Force" as fighting and sailing were not adventures to me.

My guess is that those of us who favor reunions and also attend them would be the majority of the buyers of this historical to present day look at a bunch of 18 year olds in Upstate New York in the summer of 1961.

Kathy put into place a great bunch of descriptors beneath classmates pixs. She gave us a photo album - telephone book - biography on each one of us who cared to share this information. I must say from my research across the country in terms of high school/reunion writings, that we've captured an historical fingerprint of each of us, these past 45 years.

In my work with Kathy a few years ago on the "Deceased,"
we had at that time 36 who had passed away. Kathy now reports that our loss is 44 classmates. In checking with Nick Nett in the class of 1951, 10 years earlier, whey had a little over 70 die. As their class size was about ours, I think we can say that Father Time is going to catch up with 30 more of us by our 50th reunion in 2011.

I look back at Central's teachers as a collection of "old folks" to me then. However, many of them were only 10 to 20 years ahead of us. Kathy' putting Bill's obit info to the pixs is again something unique for classmates to have.

Hope to see many of youse guys this Fall.

Dave
