Subject: Most Likely To . . .

Something else to jiggle your memories.

Remember when in school there were ballots to vote for the "Most likely to ..." candidates? No? Me neither!! Apparently I skipped skool that day as it is not within my memory.

Maybe some of you were "running for recognition" in the 14 categories most high schools considered to be important. And maybe some of you were the lucky winner in these class selections.

I thought it would be fun to list who they are and see if any of us know something about how that person matured/developed/turned out in life. Now, it someone was the Most Likely to Succeed and you knew that they are now among the homeless, you might have pity (or not) on them.

Some of the categories were based on popularity, some on abilities and others contrived to sum up certain qualities.

I know that in our class, the Class Couple has continued on in their relationship. Kathy Bausinger and John Bernier, I salute you.

If you know of any information about any of the classmates listed below, please pop a note on this Forum and tell us what you know.

I am aware of possibly 5 or more of them attending the reunion this October so maybe we can get ready to find out for sure.

Our class of 1961 was the last in the Syracuse School system to have the January and June divisions for graduation. All the years before back to the 1860's there were this distinction. So the class of 1960 had two groups of selectees and we had only one. I searched out the class of 1960 and the class of 1962 information and listed it below. You may have known someone a year on either side of our class so this opens up the winners to a sizable crowd.

My personal opinion is that what may beone's claim to fame at graduation time may not follow through in some people's minds. The most successful person may be someone without a million bucks, a ton of education or titles, but rather one who has somehow contributed to life and are happy with themselves.

I know that some of you have said that I'd win the vote for the Most Likely to do 10 to 25 Years in Sing Sing, but you were only half correct!!

So, eat some fish and sip some wine and reflect back to these kids and let us know the poop about them.
