We relocated from Upstate NY due to business transfers in the early 1970's. While we're not too far south, we still get some snow, the climate is defintely better once you get below the Mason-Dixon Line. The difference between fall and winter here is, I put on a jacket and once in a while a heavier coat. It's really nice to have the daffodils and flowering trees blooming in mid-March. The down-side is that we get on an average, about 45 days where the temperature gets above 90. But, that's why they make central A/C. This year, on Aptil 1st, I drove home at 5 PM and the temperature was 78 degrees.
