Subject: It's Spring--Officially

After a severly abbreviated Winter, it is nowofficially Spring. Here inthe Mid-South the dogwoods areblooming, along with the azaelas. Daffodils are long gone.

My grandsons are constantly at me to go fishing and I'm always ready to oblige. Soon as the ground dries out a bit I'll beputting in the vegetable garden.

It's been a particularly hard winter and early Spring on teachers. I've substituted every day for the last six weeks. Been enjpoying it immensely. I have my annual week up in the mountains trout fishing coming next month and I'm looking forward to it with great anticipation.

Many of my friends have used this mild weather to get their bodies rebuilt; new knees, ankles, shoulders and several have had surgery on their necks. Other than my long standing hypertension and pressure in my right eye being a tad high, I've managed to elude poor health and burned out bearings---my secret? A tall glass of orange juice daily, and total avoidance of Wal Mart. Good health all.
