I lived in several places during the two years I was at Central. First on South Ave (in Vocational's district but because I was taking Latin I got in at CT); then on Brighten Ave and I don't remember what dodge I used to stay out of South. Then, another street I can't remember the name of, next door to Susie Anderson. Then a block closer to CT, where I was living when graduation rolled around. I think the South Ave address was the furthest--took me about 25/minutes to walk to school, faster still than the bus. Sometimes Dave Middleton picked me up and some times Marty Miller. When I lived on Brighten, I walked to Marty's house and rode in with him. I walked most of the time when I lived near Calvin St. Took about 20 minutes, I think. Joan Hartman's father's office was only a couple of blocks away--on the way. Used to watch as I passed to try to get a glimpse of her.
