Subject: solar flare and geomagnetic storm next day or so

Yeah, there will be a geomagnetic storm the next couple of days or so. Some of you might be able to see expanded northern lights. I was just wondering if you guys could tell me if you experience any thunderstorms or anything unusual (e.g. like seeing the northern lights when you normally couldn't). Solar flares are supposed to affect the weather on earth, so I'm just keeping my eye out. (By the way, I would expect any storms to occur after the solar event, like a day or two afterwards, up until at least Saturday - it needs time to form).

I checked out a website called www.spaceweather.com, and it said that when solar flares reaches earth (i.e. the magnetism and solar wind portions), people riding in airplanes receive doses of radiation equal to an x-ray at the doctor's office. See ya.
