Horatio J. Cleveland m Cyntia Carley, Mar 18, 1813, NY. They had 13 children: Iantha Porter, Henry Porter, Rebecca Noami, Sylvester Johnson, Sally Maria, Lucinda Jane, Charles Josiah, Salmon Carley, Lorinda, Emeline Pamella, Cynthia Althea, Eugene Francis, Friend William. Most of the children were born in NY. The last 2 in Wisconsin.

Horatio moved to the Republic of Texas in 1841 with his wife and many of his children, both adult and minor. He and his adult sons all received land grants under the Republic.

I am a descendant of Henry Porter, child #2. My problem is that I have no primary resource that connects Horatio as the father of Henry or any of the other children, perhaps a Cleveland family Bible or other official documents. Does anyone know where Cleveland resource material might be found in NY or Wisconsin. I have the Cleveland Genealogy Books by Edmund James Cleveland, but they are not primary source material. I am trying to enter them into a lineage society and need the material.

Thanks for your help. Judy
