Hello cousins, my name is Dave Cleveland and I am trying to trace my roots. Currently, I do know for certain that my genealogy goes like this:

Dave (1955- )
Charles (1927 - 1992)
Louis (1893- 1952)
Hezekiah (1842 - 1925)
Amaziah (1798- 1866)

Amaziah Cleveland is listed in the 1850 census for either Floyd or Clark county as being 53 years old. His wife's name was Lucinda Detzler. Hezekiah is listed as 7 years old. I can't seem to get beyond this in my research. I know that I am related to Moses Cleveland, who immigrated from England in the 1630's or 1640's. According to some research done by a cousin of mine, our line from Moses is:

Moses
Edward (1664 - 1746)
Deliverence (1684- 1744)
Enoch (1725 -1795)
Amaziah (1746 - 1810) died Shelby co, KY m. Sarah Marvin
Their children were:
Adden b. 1777
Amaziah b. 1779
Hezekiah
Ebenezer
Zachariah
Abigail
Effa
Junia
Passah

I do know that Adden died at Long Run, Jefferson Co., KY in 1833.

Neither of us can get beyond Amaziah (1798) in our research to establish a definitive link running back to Moses. If there is any direction that you could give us, it would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Do you have any information on Amaziah's son Ebenezer. I believe that he may be my gggrandfather. But I do't have any proof.
