I came upon a newspaper article that looks like it was published in the Omro Herald, Omro, Wisconsin in 1907. It reads:
Sixty Years of Marriage
Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Cleveland of this village celebrated the 60th Anniversary of their wedding on Monday, Dec. 16. They were married in Sackett's Harbor, N.Y. on Dec. 16, 1847. There were four generations present. Mrs. E.J. Wood of Waupun, a daughter; Mrs. Frank Sykes, a granddaughter; and Miss Loreinne Sykes, a great granddaughter. Mrs. Charles Randall of Wild Rose, another granddaughter, and Mrs. Sarah Cleveland, a sister, aged 88 were also present. Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland are 76 and 77 years of age respectively. The occasion was one of much interest to them.

Does anyone know anything about any of the people mentioned in this article? W.M. Cleveland was my great great grandfather, and I am missing any real info on him. My grandfather knew him and knew his father to be Francis. He also knew that Washington Mahlen Cleveland was first cousin to Grover Cleveland. My grandfather was 20 years old at the time of this article. Unfortunately, although I got some information from him, he passed away before the real bug to do a family history hit me. I don't even know Washington's wife's name. Also, most of the family knew him as Mahlen, so he may have used his middle name as his first. I have a very large original portrait of him in my dining room and would like more info about him and his family. I think he may have had 6 sons and two daughters. I found an article that mentioned my great grandfather, Edward had 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Any info would be great!
