Garry"s father, Cecil George Cleveland, was born in Albany N.Y., on April 9, 1915. His mother was Cora and his father was Ashley (or Ashly, we don't know which is the exact spelling). We were told they were originally from Texas. Cecil served in the Canadian army from 1939 to 1945 and was in France, Italy, Germany, North Africa and on the beach on D-Day. He had A son, Garry Cecil, born May 26, 1948, in Eau Clair Ont., a son, Gerry, born in North Bay, Ont., and a daughter, Pauline, who died at the age of 2 days. Because of his failing memory, we have not bween able to get more information from Cecil about his family. If any of this is familiar, could you please e-mail us and let us know. Thank you for your help.
