He married Martha martin . i am getting conflicting info on his parnets the daughters or the american revolution say he is the son of Robert cleveland however. the martion family say he is he son of Benjamin cleveland. i was wondering if any one had any info regarding this matter? they were from Va. Birth dates given as 1768 or between 1770 and 1775. Birth place may have been Rowan County, TN. Death date may have been Aug 1834. Buried in "Colonel Martin's Cemetery at Belview at Cato" in Trousdale County, TN. Rev. soldier.* Assuming the Benjamin Cleveland you mentioned was Robert's brother, Colonel Benjamin Cleveland, I have done a lot of research on Colonel Ben, and I haven't seen William Johnson Cleveland listed as one of his, though he did have an acknowledged illegitimate daughter named Jemima.
