The Geneology of the Clevenand and Cleaveland Families, E.J> and H.G. Cleveland lists
a William Leroy Cleveland. He was born 6-6-1841, on the Broad River, Elbert, Co, GA.
Married Mary Amanda Haley, 1860. Purchased mill, other lands but joined CO. I 15th
GA, CSA and went off to war at age 21. Died on march of fever at Strasburg, VA>,
11-22-62. They show a William R as son in Decatur, MS in1882, m Sarah Gaines and a
daughter Mary Francis. He descended from Peter, 1807/Amerial Catherine Rousey
(Rouzee), Reuben, 1779/ Mary Alexander, Jacob, 1739/ Millie White, Jeremiah,
1700-12, / Possibly Sarah Mims. I have some personal contacts in and around Elbert,
GA., including grave sites of Jacob and Millie if you are interested. Will inlist you in
fixing Cleveland gravesite in Hart, CO, GA if you are not careful. Vikki has more. GP
