Cleveland lists a William Leroy Cleveland. He was born 6-6-1841, on the Broad River, Elbert, Co, GA. Married Mary Amanda Haley, 1860. Purchased mill, other lands but joined CO. I 15th GA, CSA and went off to war at age 21. Died on march of fever at Strasburg, VA>, 11-22-62. They show a William R as son in Decatur, MS in1882, m Sarah Gaines and a daughter Mary Francis. He descended from Peter, 1807/Amerial Catherine Rousey (Rouzee), Reuben, 1779/ Mary Alexander, Jacob, 1739/ Millie White, Jeremiah, 1700-12, / Possibly Sarah Mims. I have some personal contacts in and around Elbert, GA., including grave sites of Jacob and Millie if you are interested.
