Seeking anc/des of Elizabeth (Betsy) Cleveland b. Feb 2 1800 in Jasper Co., GA to William
Cleveland and his wife-we think, Rhoda Wright, but some controversy about mother, so could
be Mary Seaggs.
Siblings of Elizabeth were: Camilla White/Wright b. 1805 (m. William Reeves); Martha Thomas
b. 1818 (m.Green Harp); Mildred; Polly; Washington Cromwell b 1803; and Absalom Carter b.
1811.
Elizabeth/Betsy married Lewallen Morgan March 23, 1820 in Crawford Co., GA. Lewallen was b.
abt 1790 (based on 1850 Crawford Co. Census) and d. 1851-52 in Crawford Co., GA. Need
clarification on mother of Elizabeth/Betsy Cleveland and source of information. Thanks for help.

UPDATE: We have now just learned from another family member that parents of Absalom
Carter Morgan were Allen Morgan and Annie Cleveland. We are still thinking that Allen could
be Lewallen and Annie--perhaps Elizabeth Anne Cleveland? Does anyone have a middle name
for Elizabeth Cleveland, Daughter of William Cleveland, he was b. Apr 8, 1766 at Culpepper, VA
and d. Dec 23, 1798 in Crawford Co.,
GA.?
