Hi, I don't know if this will help, but here goes.
The 1900 census for district 23 of Los Angeles Township (Calif), Ward 7 shows a
William Z. Cleveland, that was born in 1866 in Iowa. His wife at that time was named
Ottillie.
What appears to be this same William is listed as W.Z. Cleveland, 4 year old son of
Ezra Aaron Cleveland and Mary E. Quinn on page 185, line 19 on the 1870 Iowa census
for Bonaparte Township, Van Buren Co.
Ezra Aaron Cleveland, (sometimes shown as Aaron Cleveland) is a son of Zedekiah
Cleveland and Ann Ware. He is listed as Aaron aged 11 in the 1850 Iowa census, West
Point Township, Lee Co. Zedekiah is listed as individual #5523, page 761, Vol I of the
"Genealogy of the
Cleveland and Cleaveland Families"
My relationship is as follows:
William E. Judge (Myself)
William E. Judge (My father)
Bertha Blanche Cleveland (My grandmother)
Ezra Aaron Cleveland (My great-grandfather)
Zedekiah Cleveland (My great-great-grandfather)
I don't know if this William Z. is the one you are looking for, but he was born in Iowa.
