Vicki, I finally broke down and bought the Cleveland books. They sure beat waiting for
the reference librarian to bring them up from the basement or worse yet, tell me the
volumes are not available. Now that I have them however, I know some lines are not
correct. (Just from viewing posts on various forums, not first hand knowledge.) Just
wondered if people could tell me of obvious errors so I could correct information in my
records? Thanks to anyone who would like to get their line correct. Are there so many
errors that I will be overwhelmed with emails? Sandy email at Sandy@Haists.com

Thanks for posting in the Forum, Sandy, and congratulations on getting the set. The
volumes are indeed handy to have around. You're right though ~ there are
inaccuracies and omissions, especially in the Southern Line. My quest is the same as
yours ~ to get things straightened out in that respect in the CFCRS database, so I am
always grateful to anyone sharing the results of his/her research. :)

Thanks for the prompt reply. My great-great-great grandfather, Benjamin Cleveland
and his wife, Nancy Norris are buried in a cemetery not far from my home. Also, Nancy
Norris's father, William Norris, a Revolutionary Soldier whose grave has been marked by
the DAR is in HArris County above Columus, GA which is about 50 miles from where I
live. How do I get in touch with Higginson Books? Best wishes!Marie Mayo

You can reach Higginson Book company at http://www.higginsonbooks.com Be sure to
ask for the discount Vicki has arranged for all who mention Cleveland Family Chronicles
website. I think the books were on sale at $65. per volume. Beats the $110 per volume
regular price. I was impressed with the quality, I did go ahead and get them bound in
leather for the extra $10./volume. Good luck in researching. Sandy

Sandy ~ If everyone with errors in the 3-volume genealogy wrote to you, you would definitely be overwhelmed. :) However, most people are (unfortunately) too willing to copy down what they see there and accept it as gospel without looking for further proofs. If you haven't already checked into Grace Green's speculations about the early origins of the Southern Line, please check into the new information added to the bottom of the *Original Immigrant of the Southern Clevelands* page at the CFC website.

Good luck!

Love and blessings,
Vikki
