Dawn, I wish you much luck with your son! My good friend finally pulled her 8 year old out of school. Again, school would not address it, told her he was using it as a crutch and his self esteem was battered so she took him out.
About the vision suggestion. Two years ago I had my son do a full vision exam with a person in our area who specialized in dyslexic and vision issues. It did not help my son at all, but I know it has helped many!
