Hi, I know that it seems that you are alone in teaching your child and trying to get some form of help. I had to fight for 4 years to get my son (now eight)diagnoised as dyslexic and they still don't prove much help. I have come to the conclusion that it is up to me to help my child. The first thing i would suggest is to go to your childs shcool and ask when your child could be tested for dyslexia (as often as soon as they know that you know what it is and that they should test your child then they seem more willing to help). Secondly, go onto the web and find one of the following dyslexia programs - Nessy Gameplayer (lots of schools use this as it is a video game program), FUZZBUZZ (a reading programme with fun activities), and GINN 360, SOUNDSTART or NEW WAY (all reading books that are easy to read to boost self confidence). Thirdly, if the school won't test your child there are many dyslexia clinics that will for a fee test your child for dyslexia. Forth, go get her eyes checked for any signs of visual stress (when reading texts move around, ect). Finally, don't every give up asking for help from the school as you don't get what you don't ask for (although not much help better then none). Hope this helps.
