I'm just a mom like you, I have 3 dyslexic children. To me, it doesn't sound like a problem. My kids were still learning to recognise their alphabet in 1st grade. Some reversals are normal up through 1st grade. Bright solutions for dyslexia has a website with lots of information on it. Susan Barton is the one who put it together she has a phonics program that she developed. Google her or the bright solutions sites and you will have access to loads of info. But like I said it doesn't sound like a problem.
Also, there's a book Overcomming Dyslexia by Sally Shaywitz. She is a leader in the field, she has extensive knowledge and is based at Yale University. Her book is a great resource for reading and dyslexia. Also, she lays out what exactly to do to help your child become a good reader weather or not she's dyslexic. It's really great that you are addressing your concerns early. Good Luck and I hope I helped.
