I'm John Henry, a small press printer in the midwestern United States. I have a pretty fair collection of handset type and am relying more and more on my Ludlow machine for cast slugs. I think as I get older, the mats are easier to deal with than the tiny type characters. My primary interest in Ludlow fonts is the smaller faces 4-8 point. I proably should be using a Linotype, but would have to disassemble to bring in my shop. I live in a former Roman Catholic Convent, and the chapel is my printing shop, complete with stained glass windows.
