Mom is MD working with COVID patients. Best (dance!) friend is COVID ICU nurse. Both have expressed frustration at how people are not taking the virus seriously. Out of respect for our healthcare workers, I will not be attending.

Even the hotel did a good job when we first arrived. HOWEVER, a lot was left to be desired when we left the hotel. People were crowding lines to get into restaurants, etc. They were wearing masks, but there was no way to social-distance while heading to the parking garage. The committee couldn't control that. If anything about this event becomes a super-spreader, it will be the hotel not doing more to control the crowds. The restaurants and bars should have been for pick-up and room-service only.
