Subject: Out of all the world wide cases there have only been about 6 reported and documented cases of a second infection.
In reply to: 's message, "Can I be infected with COVID-19 twice? there is currently no evidence to suggest that people are immune after recovering from coronavirus. Even if novel coronavirus infection imparted immunity, that immunity could be short-lived and last only a few weeks or months. This would leave people vulnerable to reinfection later." on 03:37:44 11/20/20 Fri

on e was completely asymptotic. One was actually sicker (although still moderate) the second time around. One was in a 0 plus year old woman on immune suppressant therapy as she battled a reoccurrence of cancer and I cant recall the particulars or outcome of the other three. Just bc something has not been conclusively ruled out is not the same as stablishing that it can occur, that it occurs often. The experts agree it is extremely, extremely rare. And I agree- read the Cdc or other scientific websites rather n than this one

Additional people claim to have had a second full-blown infection, but those people are believed to have been rare "long-haulers" who never fully recovered the first time and assumed they were recovered before a second flare-up down the road.
