Subject: Documentary Film

I am a graduate film student at New York University. I am currently researching an eight-minute documentary on dog fighting in NY and NJ. The film will be a study of a single dogman's day showing him preparing for a fight. It will NOT be against dog fighting and will not include any anti-dog fighting rhetoric. I feel very strongly about giving dogmen the opportunity to voice their love for the sport in an open and unbiased environment.

Right now I am desperately trying to find people involved in the sport who would be prepared to discuss it off camera with me or introduce me to others who would be prepared to talk to me.

I can assure anyone who makes contact with me that any discussions that take place will be fully confidential.

I realize that this request is rather out of the ordinary and you have little reason to trust me, however I appeal to you to at least try to get in touch with me. I will provide you with whatever you need to prove that I am indeed a NYU student and provide no threat to you or your associates.

Any assistance you could offer me in pointing me in the right direction or linking me up with others involved in the sport would be enormously appreciated.

Yours sincerely

Grant Greenberg
