And I bet the winner Fred Myers came all the way from Oz to win yet another trophy from over here - jeez, the habit goes back a long time!

Talking Tarn Amateur Rowing Club was formally founded in 1859 and your trophy date of 1854 is welcome proof that regattas took place on the Tarn well before the formation of our club.

I shall circulate your post and see what turns up, including Corby Castle which still exists, unfortunately the club only has a slatted timber boathouse with no secure display facility.
