Subject: 145th Chickamauga

The 145th Anniversary for Chickmauga will be here before we realize it. The event is scheduled for September 19 - 21. Two websites, the first is from the event staff and lists a lot of good information for general viewing. The second website is courtesy the North South Alliance message board. There are pictures of the various sites for the battles and other postings you may find of interest. Listed below is the tentative schedule per the Battle of Chickamauga 145th anniversary website.

For right now I would discourage registration on the website until Col Yokubaitis or Lt COl Quine decide whether we are going to register individually or as one combined unit.

Friday, Sept. 19
School Days (Times to be determined)
1 p.m. “Grand Review of the Army” for Dignitaries with battle to follow


Saturday, Sept. 20
9 a.m. Camps open to the public
9 a.m. Sutler Row open
Activities will be going on all day
Scheduled train rides to-and-from the battlefield
2 p.m. Battle of Chickamauga
6 p.m. Camps close to public
Grand Ball (TBA)

Sunday, Sept. 21
9 a.m. Camps open to the public
9 a.m. Sutler Row open
10 a.m. Period Church service
Activities will be going on all day
Scheduled train rides to-and-from the battlefield
2 p.m. Battle of Chickamauga
4 p.m. Camps close to public
