Subject: I'm sure he's faced with having to put together an act that's different from what he has done previously and one way he could begin reinventing himself is to destroy past work / image in some fashion, to feel he can move into the next thing. Whether it's him or his PR people consulting with him, he has done a great job of creating a compelling image, keeping people interested and maintaining the perception that he is always evolving.

[> [> That isn't really what I meant. -- Me, 14:55:50 06/06/03 Fri

[Edit]

[> [> [> I don't think it's an issue of not caring about what old fans want. A new web site and message board is part of having a new identity, whether or not you want to call it being "Hollywood." I would hope that in time, we'll become more accustomed to it and we'll all post there more often. On the plus side, having posters register gives his people more control over blocking the posters who are truly bananas. -- S, 15:23:50 06/06/03 Fri

[> [> [> [> How do you know so much about true bananas. Are you a monkey? -- Pavasnotti, 15:30:11 06/06/03 Fri

[Edit]

[> [> [> [> [> I like the word "bananas" when referring to nutty types. Most other words for it are soooo...clinical or condescending. I like monkeys, too, though. Especially in frilly outfits. You? -- S, 15:39:23 06/06/03 Fri

[Edit]

[> [> [> [> [> [> I like monkeys. But not the one's that are humanized. Only the ones that stare into the camera all bored and seem to be suggesting "what? you waiting for me to get it on? get lost, creep!" and then resume chewing some grass. -- Pavasnotti, 15:44:18 06/06/03 Fri

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Yeah, I like it when they resume eating grass, saying "baaaa," locking horns, clicking their hooves together and other day-to-day monkey goings-on. -- S, 16:37:19 06/06/03 Fri

[> [> [> [> I haven't seen anyone here who is truly banana's. I see lot of people having fun here. For the most part anyway -- Me, 16:50:46 06/06/03 Fri

[> [> [> [> [> But I don't think the snobs like it when the not snob have fun and get silly. I think that's where the arguments happen -- Me, 16:55:06 06/06/03 Fri

[> [> [> [> [> [> Well, that's probably another plus about blather, then. I don't think there are many truly bananas types here, however, I did have some trouble earlier this year and would have preferred it if the guy could have been blocked. -- S, 17:16:35 06/06/03 Fri

[Edit]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Iv been to Blather and I am now blind. So speak not to me about the advantages of blather again. There isn't any.Besides the banana's come and the banana's go and from what Iv seen the true fans stay and things always go back to the issue. Eddie. And anyway, What is so wrong in kicking back with a banana once in a while? It keeps things interesting. -- Me, 17:29:54 06/06/03 Fri

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> It's true: "the banana is come and the banana is go" - Who said that? Mahatma Gandhi. Brave words! Very brave. -- Pavasnotti, 17:33:11 06/06/03 Fri

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> You're preaching to the banana choir. But the banana I'm talking about is actually in federal prison at the moment, thankfully, for other stuff. It is kinda interesting to look at Blather for a while, then switch to this board. My retinas do this weird tingly readjustment thing for a few seconds. -- S, 17:53:21 06/06/03 Fri
