I can compile a Linux 2.2.16 kernel that works great on the 486CORE and lets me log in over the serial port. When I do the same thing with a 2.4.3 kernel, I can get the kernel bootup messages on the serial port, but it won't accept any input and I have to log in over ethernet. Support for console on serial port is enabled in the kernel. Can someone who has this working with a 2.4.x kernel post their config?
