i've recently recieved a letter from the american poets society and they told me they were going to publish one of my poems but there was a catch in order to get my poem published i had to buy one of their books. now i know to recieve a letter from such a society is a honor but,i am not in this for the money and i certainly don't need my name and poem in a book that isn't even wide spread.i don't need to pat myself on the back with the book because i just love to write and i just want everyone to know that they are not alone and there is someone that loves them even if it is only themselves.
